Soft Tissue Therapy and Rehabilitation
Stephanie Rondeau MS, LAT, ATC
An athletic trainer specializing in soft tissue therapy and rehabilitation, Stephanie graduated with her BS in Athletic Training from Northeastern University in 2005, and earned her MS in Nutrition, also from Northeastern University, in 2012. She began her career as an athletic trainer at Lawrence Academy in Groton, MA followed by a position as the Head Athletic Trainer at Hopkinton High School in Hopkinton, MA. She moved on to become an athletic trainer at Emerson College in Boston, MA, working primarily with women’s volleyball, men’s basketball, and women’s and men’s lacrosse.
Stephanie is passionate about strength training and full body wellness, and focuses on treating the whole person, not just a specific point of pain. In addition to athletic training, Stephanie developed and ran an outdoor fitness bootcamp for several years and also worked with athletes at The Skating Club of Boston as an off-ice strength and conditioning coach for youth and adult elite figure skaters.
She believes strongly in the combination of injury rehabilitation, training optimal movement patterns, and resistance training for athletes of all ages and abilities.
Stephanie is a licensed and certified athletic trainer, a member of the National Association of Athletic Trainers (NATA), and specializes in soft tissue manual therapy, IASTM, cupping, rehabilitation, and injury prevention. A 3-sport athlete in high school, Stephanie now enjoys spinning and strength training, and occasionally practicing cartwheels and handstands with her kids.
